Frequently Asked Questions

How many months are included in a typical contract?

Monthly procurement contracts start at a minimum of 3 months and can extend for as long as needed for your research.

Can I include donor criteria?

Yes, donor criteria can be included depending on how it effects donor recruitment. 

How does shipping work?

Fresh samples are shipped the day of collection for delivery the next morning. Frozen samples, such as serum or plasma, are batch shipped either once or twice per month.

Can I cancel the contract at any time?

Yes you can. If your research initiative change the contract can be cancelled at any time after the first 3 months. 

What if I only need this for 2 or 3 months?

The project will be completed within the guidelines of BioSample Connect's standard procurement offering.
